doing this is to go to the group properties and double-click on "Message
Delivery Restrictions". Select the check box "Require that all senders are
authenticated" and this will have the desired effect.

In the distribution list settings, Mail Flow Settings Tab, Mail Delivery
Restictions. You can set rules for accepting and rejecting emails to the
distribution list.
