Disclaimer message limit?

I'm trying to configure a disclaimer message in Exchange 5.5 using the IMS
Extension DLL.

I'm wondering, Is  there  a fix limit of characters to the string value
called OutboundAppend?

My boss wants me to add a very long disclaimer message.

Any help will be appreciated.

PS. Sorry if my english is no so good, hope you guys understand my
question.
