Have you tried to go in through Exchange System manager, navigate to the mailstore where the user is located and right click and choose reconnect? -----Original Message----- From: Joe Kinne [mailto:JoeK@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, August 06, 2002 3:39 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Diabled Account http://www.MSExchange.org/ I've seen it take a couple of hours before the SID is reactivated to where Exchange can use it. It has something to do with how the Catalog is updated. --Joe -----Original Message----- From: KEN MORRIS [mailto:KMORRIS@xxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, August 06, 2002 11:48 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Diabled Account http://www.MSExchange.org/ Rob, Did you delete the user account from AD? Ken -----Original Message----- Exchange 2000 server SP2 on Win2000 server sp2 We disabled an account yesterday, and of course, today someone needs to get into the email of this account. I enabled the account back, but I am unable to open the mail folder. I am getting the error of: Event ID: 9548 Disabled user does not have a master accound SID. Please user Active Directory MMC to set an active account as this user's master account. I went to Microsoft and used Q278966 to no avail. Anyone know of a way to get back into the disabled email?
