Are you on Exchange 2007 sp1? I have done this several times w\o
issues. What is the error? There has been some import\export bugs fixed with
RU4. If it is this error apply RU4 or go ahead and just do RU5. Exmerge is not supported with 2007 but still works. If you are
getting access denied issues; it’s best to start with creating a new service
account and applying sendas\receive as. An error occurs
when you use the Export-mailbox or Restore-mailbox command to migrate certain
mailboxes on Exchange Server 2007: "error code -1056749164 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/951747 James Chong 11130 Sunrise Valley Drive, Suite 300 Reston, VA 20191 From:

Behalf Of Amit Kapoor Or is there any way that Exmerge can be used to delete messages
from mailbox. I had found one article on internet. I tried that but it hasn’t
worked saying that user account does not have permission to access the mailbox
store. My account is domain admin as well as exchange admin. Regards, Amit Kapoor From:

Behalf Of Amit Kapoor Hi James, I tried command given in the link. Does it require Rollup update 4
for Exchange 2007. As it gave me error during the execution of this command. I
found few articles suggesting the same but somehow lost those articles. Regards, Amit Kapoor From:

In the course of daily operations of an IT Emergency
Response organization, administrators need the ability to scan a large number
of messages based on specified criteria, and perform mass deletion of any
suspect email found. By using Export-Mailbox and the –DeleteContent parameter
along with specific filter options, they are able to search and delete such
messages. Exchange Server 2007 Export Mailbox task http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2006/11/28/431669.aspx James Chong 11130 Sunrise Valley Drive, Suite 300 Reston, VA 20191 From: exchangelist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
[mailto:exchangelist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Amit Kapoor Hi, We have Exchange 2007 server with Service Pack1 and rollup
update 2. One of our users accidentally sent a porn email to a distribution
list. Now he has requested to delete that email from mailboxes of all users. We
tried using Exmerge but it didn’t work. Can someone please help us to find some
command or some tool through which we can delete that email from all the
mailboxes? Regards, Amit Kapoor DISCLAIMER: DISCLAIMER: DISCLAIMER: |
