When I create a user "Jan Jansen" then its emailadres will automticly be set to Jan@xxxxxxxxxx But what if i want the email adres be set to j.jansen@xxxxxxxxxx? Is there a policy that you can adjust that it creates the adresses that way the first time automaticly... I'm slightly confused as to what the Recipient Policy check box does here. I thought the Recipient Policy just referred to the address after the @ so that if an e-mail domain changed it can be easily updated. However where does the first part of the user e-mail address get set - it appears to come from the Windows logon name ? ADU&C logon user is set to Gordon (christian name only) but I want the e-mail address to be Gordon.Smith@ - I've added a Gordon.Smith@ to the SMTP e-mail address and he receives e-mail ok, but when I try to set the SMTP default address to Gordon.Smith@ after a minute it reverts back to Gordon@ - it's not a show stopper but why does it keep reverting back ?
