You should use a back 2 back configuration.  With two ISA servers and your 
exchange server behind the second firewall and another smtp o front end server 
(which microsoft calls second exchange server) on the DMZ.  If no money for the 
front end server use ISS smtp server for this one.

Hello All !
 
Did you organize Exchange Server 2000 in the DMZ ? I am afraid that users in my 
LAN
will not have possibilty to use such effective thing like Public Folders .I am 
planning to use
THRIHOMED DMZ (THRIHOMED ISA Server) . In this case my Exchange Server will use 
public IP address , that is why i don't know  how can my internal users get 
their e-mail boxes and accounts ? If you have some interesting information or 
articles , please send it to me .
