Ryan

There is no easy way to find out who is logged into your file server or the
mail server, you could use a third-party product like www.promodag.com to
show you this information and it will also show you historical data as well.

In order to you the MMC snapins you will need the Windows 2000 Admin Pack
installed on the client and you will also need to install the Exchange
System Manager on the client as well. If you are running XP on the client
machine the steps are a little different and you should look at this link:
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=815529

Hope this helps

Subject: [exchangelist] Couple of Noobie Questions from a Linux user

        http://www.MSExchange.org/

Win 2000 server and exchange 2000

        1. How do i see who is actually logged into both my mail server and
file/print server (is on the same machine)at a point in time and can
this be
stored someplace so I can review who logged in and when etc ?

        2. I want to remote admin the server across the network using mmc
but I do
not have the snap-ins I need on the client PC. Where can i get them,
specifically Domain users and exchange users.

        thanks
