Its not going out, it just looks that way after you force the connection. Wait a few seconds and refresh and its still queued. "Couldn't find host" is typically a DNS problem. I would start there. -----Original Message----- From: jasontan@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jasontan@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, November 07, 2005 9:04 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Connection timed out http://www.MSExchange.org/ Hi guys/ladies, Good morning. Whenever I tried to send email to this particular domain users, I notice the email would get stuck in the queue. Only after several persistent "forced connections", then the email get out but after a few hrs, it bounced back, saying "couldn't find the host". I check with the remote domain Exchange administrator and this was the log entry "Nov 1 18:44:59 sierra sendmail[17045]: jA22hpi17043: to=<scng@xxxxxxxxxxx>,<ykyee@xxxxxxxxxxx>, delay=00:01:01, xdelay=00:01:00, mailer=esmtp, pri=67174, relay=mail.nanotms.com. [203.116.100.179], dsn=4.0.0, stat=Deferred: Connection timed out with mail.nanotms.com". Anyone could provide some troubleshooting tips? The server is running Exchange 2003 w/ SP1, default values. Thank you.
