RE: Connection limit reached ? Help

Could be a couple of different problems.

 

1. Some one is relaying through your server and consuming all the SMTP
threads available.

2. There are sessions stuck open.

3. Disk space.

4. Maximum database size.

5. DOS attach.

6. Server is relaying out lots of virus messages from internal computers.

 

There are probably a few more.

Hi All,

 

When I try telnet into my Exchange server at port 25, I got this error
message:

421 ecxhange.domain.com connection limit reached

 

I am using Windows NT4 and Exchange 5.5. 

 

Currently I cannot receive any mail. Please advise.
