Connect Exchange 5.5 with Exchange 2003

I have an Exchange 5.5 on a Windows 2000 Server.
I want to install Exchange 2003 in another domain (on a Windows 2003
Server).
How can I connect these two Exchange ? (Use site connector, join the
Exchange 2003 to the existing site of Exchange 5.5, ... ?)
