Michael, We're bloated really bad from years of being told we couldn't enforce any size limits. Right now we have 5 storage groups (All SAN attached), each one runs
300gig in size with about 50% of that used. We try to keep things evenly split up, but with the size of some of our administration's mailboxes it difficult, believe it or not we have several administrators with mailboxes over 12gig. We've finally got our point across and are going to implement size restrictions in Sept. Unfortunately we know that it's going to further the PST nightmare,
we're simply moving the space from one location to another. Someday we'll figure out a way of dealing with the high profile users that don't know where the delete key is. George Taylor Regional Health Inc. From: exchangelist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:exchangelist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]
On Behalf Of Michael B. Smith George – Can you tell how large your stores are and your average store size? (I’m just interested in statistics. I like knowing what folks are doing on the upper-end…) Regards, Michael B. On Behalf Of GTaylor@xxxxxxxx We have 5000+ users and host them on a 2 server CCR cluster, so basically their just on one server until failover is needed. The servers are pretty heavy
iron, dual quad cores with 64gig ram. The public stores are on a server of their own. (Note: Public folders cannot be on a CCR cluster.) We also have 2 load balanced CAS and 2 load balanced Edge servers. So basically we have 7 pretty healthy servers running
our Exchange 2007 environment for 5000+ users and performance is great. George From: exchangelist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:exchangelist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]
On Behalf Of raj nair Hello, New to clustering. If i want to migrate my mailboxes on to a windows 2003/2007 cluster ( currently 3 exchange servers evenly hosting 4000 mailboxes and 1 hosting public folders. No cluster), how will be the cluster configuration ( like how
