Hi all, Got a curious one... We are using Exchange 2000 and Outlook 2000... I have a user who is being challenged for her login name, domain, and password.. after she successfully logs in to the network and then launches Outlook client on her desktop. She gets the message that her login credentials could not be authenticated... check domain, password, etc.. She does login to our domain just fine, has correct drive mappings and network access. I thought her Outlook client might be corrupted.. so went to her laptop and ran Outlook.. and got the same message. I then I had her login via Internet and she received the same error message... so knew it wasn't client related. I wound up having to put her username in the Mailbox rights for her account... and Outlook was able to find her mailbox.. and it came up on the screen. The rest of the company is doing fine... so this is isolated.. Any ideas on what happened to her? This Webcast will focus on preventing disruptions of e-mail service and things you can do to make sure that unforeseen disruptions only minimally impact your organization. Topics include common disaster scenarios, basic server configuration, fault-tolerance, high availability, the costs (and hidden costs) of Exchange 2000 clustering, SLA's and disaster recovery, and backup plans. Jim will be giving away 5 copies of his book titled "Exchange 2000 Server 24seven" during the Webcast. <http://www.microsoft.com/usa/webcasts/upcoming/1696.asp> http://www.microsoft.com/usa/webcasts/upcoming/1696.asp Mark Fugatt MCT, MCSE, Microsoft Exchange MVP Pentech Office Solutions Inc Rochester, NY Tel: 585 586 3890 Fax: 585 249 0316 <file://www.4mcts.com> www.4mcts.com <file://www.exchangetrainer.com> www.exchangetrainer.com ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: lwilson@xxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: mark@xxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: lwilson@xxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
