Look for the parameters, which can be monitored using Windows
Performance Monitor. This should include: Disk Space, Process Checks
(Exchange Services Exes), Memory Usage Check, Processor Load Check, NIC
Usage.

Define threshholds and can get alerts if you have NMS.

I use an Open Source solution. Take a look at http://www.nagios.org

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a kind of checklist to monitor my windows infrastructure
(Servers, Workstation, etc)

Please don't tell me that I should monitor event viewer or use MOM/SMS.

What I need is some thing more than that... I need a checklist with
which I can monitoring and take proactive actions to avoid any kind of
disaster.

Any ideas????

Regards,

Rajnish Malik
