Jared

You need to change the LDAP port number on the Exchange 5.5 server only if
it will be running on a Windows 2000 Domain Controller, here is a link that
explains how to change the port number:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;312501

Hope this helps

Hi All,

I'm migrating from Exchange 5.5 NT domain to W2K AD
new domain. I've been told I need to change the LDAP
port because AD and Exchange use the same port.
However, I'm not clear as to which port on which
domain I am to change. Do I change the LDAP port on
the Exchange 5.5 machine? Or change it on the W2K AD
domain machine?

Thanks, Jared
