Thanks, Raj. I just (for the third time) tested that with my own account. When I send myself an email in the "To" box it shows the changed display name. In the "From" box is still shows the same old White, Peter. Can you please tell me if you see in difference in the "From" between this email and the previous one I sent? Thanks pw ________________________________ From: Periyasamy, Raj [mailto:Raj.Periyasamy@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, September 21, 2004 10:07 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Change name in "From" for newly married employee http://www.MSExchange.org/ Hi Peter, To change the name, you have to just use the ADUC interface and rename the user, you will get a prompt that will allow you to change the Display name, First name and Last name. Just select the user object, and hit F2 and change the name. You can also rename the users login account name if required. I am using fictitious married and maiden names to describe her requirements. Assuming a married name of Jane Jones and a maiden name of Jane Smith she wants to: 1. Recieve email addressed to j.jones@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx 2. Recieve email addressed to j.smith@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx 3. In the "From" field of emails her customers recieve from her she wants her name to appear as Jane Jones (nee Smith) We have Server 2003 and Exchange 2003. I know how to give her a second email address. Can somebody please tell me how to change her name in the "From" field of her outgoing emails?
