Hi Luke
Have you changed the alias for her on the Exchange General tab in AD users
and groups? If you don't you will find the users SMTP address will keep
changing back irrespective of what you set it too if the user is set to use
the standard recipient policy. you will change the users SMTP address and 5
minutes later it will mysteriously change back all by itself. I got bitten
by this one recently. Don't know how relevant that is here?
If all else fails you could always delete their network account and recreate
it and then re-associate the mailbox with the new network account and it
should pick up the correct details. Provided you have deleted mailbox
retention set this may well work too. Just don't forget any special groups,
rights or permissions she has when you recreate her network account.

Nah its bog standard outlook 2k connecting to e2k sp2
Im sure ive done this before without any problems - what I did notice is the
mailbox in ESM still has the old name - could this be it? If so, how do I
work around it?

Is she using POP3/SMTP for mail? If so the change needs to take place in

Ive just changed the name of a user who has recently married - everything
appears fine except when she mails other people - her name appears as her
old maiden name!
