Thanks Raj!  I thought of that one, but what seemed to do the trick was the
previous suggestion about manually syncronizing the domain.  I did that, and
it seemed to do the trick.  Thanks to everyone that helped!!

Open the mailbox from Exchange admin. In permissions tab, you have to
delete the username and add the username again and assign permissions as
Owner of the mailbox. You are having this problem because the user SID
has changed.

Did you delete only the NT account or account and mailbox ? Need to know
this information before I respond....

Hi all!  I recently had to re-create a user's NT4 domain acct.  Now when
she tries to open her mailbox, she receives the error "unable to open
your default email folders.  you do not have permission to log on."  I
have reset her exchange acct to use her NT account as the primary
account.  What am I missing.  This is Exchange 5.5 sp4.
