yaa everytime reconfiguring the connector for simple mailbox migration is
not the solution. The utility which i said is for moving the mailboxes
across the sites only. It doesnt require PST files to be made for the
migration. U can also do one thing:
Suppose u want to migrate someones mail box from other site then u can make
a PST file of his mailbox including the rules and everything, hide his
mailbox and delete his SMTP address from that server. Coz of this action
when u will create his mailbox at this end u wont get the error of "email
address already exists in the organization. U can also do the force
directory replication whenever u r doing any modifications across the sites.
so that the changes get reflected immediately.

I got resolved the problem. I deleted the connector and recreated. It took
like 5 min. only. But it doesn ot seems to be the solutions. The tool you
are talking about will move the user to another exchange within the same
organization on exchnage 5.5 or you have to export to a pst and than import
to the PST again? how much time will it take on 128KB Frame Link.

This happens normally as Raj said. U can also use BACK OFFICE Resource kit
utility called MAIL BOX MIGRATION that automatically moves the messages and
creates the directory entries too.

Looks like the changes you made have not been replicated to all
servers.....Force a drirectory replication and wait for some time before
changing the email id.

Hi all,
I have few exchange 5.5 server in my oganization. I removed the user from
my remote exchange to main head office exchange. When I deleted the user
and create the same user at main exchange server, I got the differnet
email ID. When i am trying to change the email ID to the previous one , I
am getting the message " this email-address already exists in this
organization". Now my problem is that user can not recieve the email on
his previous email ID. He has to inform to everone for the new email ID.
Do you have any workaround. I already tried directory replicaion between
exchanges,but it seems it is not working.
