Maybe this will help?
Go to the Tools menu, and click Internet Options. Click the Advanced
tab. In the "Settings" box, scroll down to the section labeled
"Security," and click to check the box next to the "Empty Temporary
Internet Files folder when browser is closed" option

I understand when using OWA and opening an attachment a copy of the
document is placed in the temporary directory of the drive on which the
user is viewing their e-mail. This temporary copy isn't deleted when the
when the document is closed giving a possibility that other people could
view the document later.
Is their someway of preventing this document being locally cache?
