You must install outlook on the backup server, create a profile,
remember to logon as the service account to do all of this. Then set up
your mailbox backups, logged on as the service account.

All,
When I installed the Remote Agent on my Exchange Server, I was
unable to install the option for Exchange Server. I am assuming this
option just stays on the master computer handleing the backups. When I
went to configure the backup server to backup the mailboxes, I am asked
to provide a login which has access to the mail server. The account
Backup Exec is running under (backups), I created a mail account for on
the mail server. When I enter this account into the configuration, it
is not accepted. Am I missing something here?

Exchange 2000 SP2, Backup Exec 8.5
