Backup exec

Hi all,
Has anyone running backup exec 8.6 experienced it where backups of mailboxes
have disappeared from certain dates, although everything else backed up on that
date (ie system state) shows up?
I need to restore some mails and the date is missing from the "Select Items to
Restore" window, even though system state and information store do appear?
