Simon
Have a look at MS KB Q296788 and Q296843 for some info on /r switch and
replaying your log files to get your database back to a consistent state. Any
other event ID's?

George

Hi,

I have just run the eseutil using the check sum flag and it tells me that it
was not shutdown properly (dirty shutdown) and advises me to run the util again
in recovery mode. My question is what is meant by the 'log file basename'?

Many thanks
