This rule runs only as a client only rule, meaning your workstation
should be running Outlook all the time and the profile should be opened.
If you want to do this in a better way, you can use a script in the
Inbox of the mailbox. You need to install the MS event scripting service
in the Exchange server for this. For a sample script you can visit

        You can create one using the rules wizard, just select "have
server reply using a specific message" for the action.  Be advised that
this can cause mailing loops with other auto-responders or out-of-office
messages.
         
        If you look at solutions that work from outside of Exchange
(using POP/SMTP) then you have a lot more options.  This product looks
