-------------------------------------------------------We tried forwarding as
plain text. Are you suggesting that RTF is in
the spreadsheet and that is causing the problem?

Subject: [ExchangeList] Attachment sent to AOL account coming up as
winmail.dat file on one system

-------------------------------------------------------CEO (so you know
that this is important) receives a Excel spreadsheet in
his email. He forwards the email to two people outside of the company
using their AOL accounts. Both people are running AOL 9. One person
receives the email with attachment and is able to open it without issue.
The other person receives the attachment as a winmail.dat and can't do
anything with it. The CEO has tried forwarding the email as a plain
text and it still bombs. Have tried using Outlook Express to open the
email and no joy. We can create a new email with an Excel attachment
using plain text, HTML, RTF and it works correctly on both clients. AOL
tech support has been less than supportive. Anyone run across this?
Any thoughts?
