For me it fell over very early on in the loading process with an error
message about lack of space on the drive. (Completely incorrect) so I called
in an expert whose fix was to revert to version 7.something!!

(Symantec's two fixes didn't work for me either and I did try on two 2k
servers and a 2K client)
