I personally prefer to create a new policy. Purely as a matter of habit,
I leave the default policy alone.

But sure, you can add it to the default policy.

Can you add this to the default recipient policy or do you need to
create a new policy?

You have to add it as a checked recipient policy before Exchange
will accept e-mail for the domain.

domain

        Hello all,

I'm having a problem allowing users that used to receive email
from a domain other than ours.

For example: A few users need to be able to receive email from
user@xxxxxxxxxxx as well as our email: user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

We are on Exchange 2000 with a Symantec Antivirus server in the
DMZ and then comes through a GFI spam server and then to our internal
exchange server.

Right now I have added myname@xxxxxxxxxxx to my email addresses
list for my myname@xxxxxxxxxxxxx account and I am getting unable to
relay errors when I send an email to from my external charter account.

        Any ideas?
