Default Web Site\Microsoft-Exchange-ActiveSync: Integrated Windows and
Basic Authentication (Default Domain: HOSTIX)

I don't have IW turned on.

Default Web Site\OMA: Integrated Windows and Basic Authentication
(Default Domain: \)

I don't have IW turned on.

Default Web Site\Rpc: Integrated Windows and Basic Authentication
(Default Domain: \)

I don't have IW turned on.

That being said, I don't have ISA (and have no intentions of installing
it). I have only BE servers.

I repeat what I said before -- you need to find your logging errors.
They are logged in the W3SVC logs, so I'd guess you are looking in the
wrong place.

I also repeat: please don't delete the prior message content.

Hi Michael,

that is the only protocol enty in W3SVC1 if Pocket PC tries to connect
by using ActiveSync:
10.10.4.254, hostix\david_mucix.de, 4/22/2005, 15:50:34, W3SVC1, FE01,
10.10.4.1, 312, 662, 261, 200, 0, POST, /Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync,
User=david_mucix.de&DeviceId=16323330054189E188000050BF3F5173&DeviceType
=PocketPC&Cmd=Notify&Log=V2TNASNC:0A0C0D0FS:0A0C0D0SP:5C5I3283S6288R,

I know only W3SVC, HHTPERR, SMTPSVC protocol files on IIS. Is there any
other protocol files on system for ActiveSync?
Ara our IIS Virtual Directory directory security configurations on FE
and BE correct?

Best Regards
Mustafa
