Hi,

Thanks for that Tipp. I think this could be the solution since moving mailboxes
is not the aim. Unfortunately, we don't have a leased line between the two
sites, so we will have to try it over the internet.

Oliver

Hi Oliver,

As you know the Exchange 2000 relies on Active Directory registered at
Forest level.
If you want to combine them you have to bring Active Directory together.
It is possible to replicate information between Forests for directory
exchange purposes.
The only other solution is to move mailboxes using Exmerge utility in a
single Org Exchange 2000.

Subject: [exchangelist] Combine two organizations

http://www.MSExchange.org/

We have recently bought a new company. Since we are still running in two
locations and under two names it would be very usefull, if we could
combine the two organizations somehow. Reason is, that some users have
their mailboxes on one server (one org) others are on the other server.
Is there any way to do this?

Thx for your help
Oliver
