I personally like Server's Alive...free for 10 services, then it's $90 for
unlimited services.

I personally like IPSwitch's WhatsUp Gold. I think its around 800
bucks, can scan as many things as you want. We used it to monitor about
200 items where I used to work. Easy to config, and it has a web
interface so you can access it from anywhere in the world.

I am currently using Manage Exec for monitoring my Event logs, Services,
Applications (BackupExec and Exchange) and Notification. I need to
replace this system due to Veritas discontinuing support and sale of
this product. I need something that is not budget breaking (around
$500US per server or less) Help

                        Thanks... ;)
