Try telneting into your mail server on port 25 and see how it identifies
itself.
The server should id itself with either a FQDN or the IP address in
brackets.
This is off the top of my head so checking the RFCs or another source might
be wise, I am at home and Cox.net blocks port 25 or I would have checked
myself.
