5.5 Upgrade or Move Mailbox

What method is recommended for migrating an Exchange 5.5 cluster to Exchange
2000 cluster, move the mailboxes to another server then uninstall 5.5 and
reinstall 2000 or run the upgrade method from Microsoft?
