[ewiki] getting in touch

Hi all

first of all I would like to thank you for this nice little wiki
software. As you can see at http://brightbyte.de/wiki/ i have been using
it with some success on my homepage already. I am using a patched version of ewiki, more about that a few paragraphs down.

But I have a few questions about getting in touch with you:

* First of all: I had to guess the address of the mailing list, as it
does not seem to be documented anywhere - if you read this, I obviously
guessed correctly. Especially, it's not in the welcome message send by
ecartis@xxxxxxxxxxxx - it would be nice to put it there. Also, I have
not yet found an archive of this list - the only thing i found is
http://www.freelists.org/list/ewiki, which is not very informative.

Additionally, I just found out that I have to confirm the subscription with the website. That's not unusual, but as I *already* had gotten a "Welcome to list ewiki" mail, I thought it was not necessary. I had to find the confirmation page by seving through the freelist-site, too... This is not too confortable for new users. Or was it not necessary after al? very confusing...

* The next thing is that i have written some plugins (or more correctly,
i have modified existing plugins to fit my needs) and would now like to
contribute them to the project. Where is the best place to show you my
code? Here? Also, under what license would I have to put my code to
contribute it? Putting it into the public domain is, strictly speakting,
not possible under european law. And GPL ist too restrictive for you, right?

* Although I managed to find out most things I needed by looking at the
source, I still have some question about plugin hooks and especially
internationalisation. Is this a good place to ask? Or would some
wiki-page be better?

* My Last question is - is anyone reading this? Is this list intended
for developers, or more as a help desk for users? How much traffic
should I expect from this list?

Please respond, I would like to tell you more about the code I want to
contribute.

Thanks,
Daniel
