All:
Someone has taken an uninvited interest in our
club website.
.......................................................................
Last week there were two rather "typical" phishing e-mails
asking for $$$ to pay an electric bill.
( to a company in Australia it as turned out)
They were addressed to " treasurer@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx "
That was a little unsettling
Yesterday's and today's appeared to come from Don Wrigley
sending under "president@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ". It came to my home
e-mail address, In the body of the mail I was addressed as Brooks and was
signed Don.
( $2800 for website upkeep needed ASAP ......)
It was sent from Don's iPhone (yes ... he does NOT own an iPhone )
I replied ... they asked for $$ again at 5 AM ( clearly not Don)

Someone is phishing, and phishing hard,
So watch what comes in the e-mail.
The first set were Ransom-ware
The second set were looking for money, very personal and looked real.
