Outreach Events
We have two events this week.
Tuesday, March 7th is Irving Elementary (3220 E Pueblo in Mesa 85204) from
7:00-8:00 pm. This is a star gazing night for the school. They expect about 120
participants. Nearest cross streets are 32nd St & Pueblo. Setup location will
be on the basketball courts on the west side of the school. Contact is Eileen
Kruer.
Thursday, March 9th is Pomeroy Elementary (1507 W Shawnee Dr in Chandler 85224)
from 6:30-7:30 pm. This is a Reading Under the Stars night. They expect about
200 people. Nearest cross streets are Gilbert & Warner Rd. Set up will be on
the paved driveway on the south side of the school. Contact is Darcy Swanson.
If you can provide a telescope or assistance for these events please send an
email to events@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx. If you don't want to bring a telescope, we can
always use some help in talking about astronomy to the participants.
