Dear Lev and others,
My apologies if anyone felt that there were any intentions hiding behind
a very innocent wanted ad!!!
Please let me assure you that I am a firm believer of teachers' rights.
No enemies this time :)

At the risk of making a few enemies here and there -
A principal of one of the schools was quite outspoken about candidates'=20
age when
talking to my partner. She said, "I prefer young teachers who depend on
me and
do whatever they are told. I don't like hiring experienced teachers:
they are
too independent."
Ms. Arditi, I strongly urge you to retract and amend the posting. You
can
implement your hiring policies as you see fit - but at least have the
decency
to conceal your intention to hire less experienced faculty who can=20
consequently
be more easily manupulated.
