In my opinion the biggest problem we have is that we do not get paid enough.
And this 'gripe' should go straight to the Ministry of Education .  Perhpas
by complaining about the NBA and the modular tests we feel we have a chance
to change something while complaining about the bigger problems would get us
nowhere. But  what really makes us all mad is that teachers are underpaid
way underpaid!!!

 I think that we don't mind working very hard but we do mind not having most
of the public understand just how hard it is to educate . We need to turn
our fight (our anger) outward and fight for higher pay and better conditions
to work under. 

Finally I must say that I too was offended by being called a 'griper'.  It's
good to express your opinion and great that there is a forum to do so and
great that people care enough about teaching English to discuss it . Sorry
Avi but on this one point you overstepped yourself. 
If what we say is wrong in your opinion because it's based on incorrect 
information then educate us. Tell us what does go on behind the scenes and
how things are decided!!!! 

Who says "ignorance is bliss" ???
