[etni] texts for Israeli children in English

I am trying to help my students read some English literature and have yet to
find a good source. Most of the worksheets I have found deal with grammar
and vocabulary and some reading comprehension.
Could somebody help me find classical children's texts in easy English on
the Internet that would be suitable for junior high and high school
students?
I have been to libraries and have found books in easy English, but they are
not suitable for children.
