[etni] teaching English to an LD child

Hello.

I am teaching English to a 4th grader who has many learning 
disabilites.  I decided to teach her only the uppercase 
letters and focus on the sound of each letter.

I remember coming across a small booklet that taught exactly 
in this manner - with a focus only on the upper case letters 
and the sounds.  And by the end of the booklet, the child 
supposedly could read.  

Does anybody know which booklet I am talking about, and where 
I can get a hold of it, and any other info you have on 
teaching a highly challenged child.
