Actually, we had a similar situation at our school. A certain pupil was not
given a Tsiyun Hagashah for Module E because of excessive absences.
She was told not to come and take the Module E Bagrut. She came anyway but
her English teacher saw her and told her she was not allowed to sit for the
Bagrut and to go home. She tried the same trick in Moed Bet but this time
managed to take the test. We discovered it later and did NOT send in her
notebook. Without a Magen grade she can't take the Bagrut, and there was no
way we were going to give her a Magen grade.

Subject: [etni] Re: registering on the internet for moed bet - problem
Some people asked me to let them know what we did about this.
I wasn't able to get an answer from "mateh ha'bechinot". But - it turned out
that this year we could have gotten the ID numbers of all the students who were
regestered on the internet, and not just the amounts, like we had last year.
(the excel sheet that opens up when you put in the "semel mosad" has this
information.)
so - if we had seen this list, we would have noticed that this girl was
registered for modules she couldn't take, and would have told her not to take
the tests.
but no one at the school was able to view the list, so she took the tests.
in the end , we gave her a minimal "magen", and she will have to ask the MOE to
put the lower level of English on her bagrut certificate.
So - everyone should be aware that you can get the list of kids who registered
for moed bet - on the internet, the day before the test. so situations like
this will not happen inthe future.
(WHY did we give her a magen? beause our bagrut coordinator said that if she
did a test, we have to send it in. and if we send in a test - it must have a
magen.)
have a good summer, everyone!

did any other school have this problem -
a student registered on the internet for a module she had not studied for.
(a 4 point student who did E in May registered for F and G.)
because we didn't have the names of the students who registered on the
internet, and because her teacher wasn't at school today, we didn't catch the
mistake. she took the tests and went home. only later, when we were writing the
"school" grades on the forms, did we notice this.
Did something like this happen anywhere other than at our school? if so, what
did you do?
