[etni] reflection journals

hi aviva,
i really like your idea.
i've never done journal writing before, but i have started it this year with
all my classes. i suggest a topic on the board, which they may choose to
write about. they have a lot of trouble thinking what to write and usually
stop after 3 sentences. do you have any ideas how to get their writing
juices flowing?
i am thinking of combining your idea with their regular journal writing. at
the end of the week i will give them this opportunity. i agree that they
need to vent and i think that we can learn a lot about our teaching from
them. have you thought of any additional questions or ideas? i would
appreciate hearing about them.
