[etni] reading recovery program

Hi everyone,
   
  Our elementary school in Ma'aleh Adumim is now associated with AMIT.We are 
participating in a pilot program supervised by Sarit Katinka to teach all the 
non-readers decoding in an intensive program to help get them reading and 
functioning in the English class as quickly as possible.
   
  We, the teachers, are having some difficulty adapting the program for 
elementary school and I would appreciate hearing from any teachers who have 
worked on this type of program in elementary schools who can share their 
experiences with us.
  what size are the groups?
  how long do they participate in the program?
  do they study during school hours?
  how are they integrated into the regular English class?
