A friend of mine who taught in a school that specialized in MLD hs students 
required all those who were to be tested and taught orally to bring 
walkmen, especially the "executive" type that had a "counter" to more 
easily find the place.  She recorded and copied what was needed, and the 
kids could even record their answers.  Also, choose a textbook that has the 
text recorded.
