I really thought I had this all worked out already, but apparently not. I
have a question...
Suppose I have a class of borderline 5-pointers and the school decides to
have them complete the modules for both 4 and 5 points to ensure a passing
grade in English. Now let's say they do module C in 10th grade, modules D
and E in 11th grade and module F in 12th grade. At the end of 11th grade,
they will have 4 points, but what they are really aiming for is 5 points.
When do they need to take the oral exam? Do they have to take it when they
complete 4 points (11th grade) or can they wait and take it in 12th grade
when they do module F for 5 points?
And how about the same scenario for borderline 4-pointers... They do module
A in 10th grade, modules B and C in 11th grade and modules D and E in 12th
grade. This is even more confusing, as the 3-point oral exam and the
4-point oral exam are different. Do they have to take the 3-point oral exam
in 11th grade? And if they don't take it and then fail modules D and E in
12th grade, can they then take the 3-point oral exam so that they'll have a
3-point grade?
Sorry if I'm not being clear. I'm starting to confuse myself!
