Shalom
I have just gone through the material on the Etni site relating to the new
oral bagrut. I read the specifications from the Revised Handbook where it is
written that the division of the oral bagrut for the 4 and 5 points is as
follows: 50 points for the interview, 25 for the project presentation and
another 25 for project interaction. However, in the rubrics for the oral
bagrut, 4 and 5 points, the marks are as follows: 40 points for the
interview, 20 for project presentation, 20 for accuracy and 20 for project
interaction. The 20 points for accuracy relates to both the presentation and
interaction. However, it seems to me that there is a difference in the
accuracy of a pupil when presenting a project and when answering questions.
It is a bit confusing. I really recommend that the oral bagrut should
consist of an interview in which the teacher can always ask about any
project done whether in English or any other subject.
I'd like to hear from other teachers in the field who have tested the new
format, how it went.
Thanks,
Iris
