Subject: Marking the Matkonot (pre-Tests)

Like many other teachers who prepare the Eleventh 
and Twelfth Graders for
 the Bagrut exams, I do NOT mark exams 
afterwards.  When grading their
 compositions or full answers I base the number 
of points they earn 
according
 to the instructions and training we received 
while doing the NBA course (I....
   
  The rubrics are available online, via "anglit" and etni.  Each year we print 
out the new ones, also for the "oral test."  I use the rubrics to teach 
composition writing so my students will know that there's a science to the 
writing and marking, and it's not just a matter of "throwing the tests down the 
steps and seeing where they land."
