[etni] looking for teachers to host visiting teachers for dinner

Hi High School Etniers,

 

The Los Angeles Jewish Federation is bringing 20 Catholic high school
teachers here in March as part of a program they run to teach Catholic
teachers how to teach about modern-day Israel and democracy in Israel in
their classrooms. They are looking for teachers in the TEL AVIV area who
would like to host 4 or 5 teachers for DINNER ONLY on Thursday evening,
March 27th. In the past, host teachers invited some of their colleagues and
even principals or vice-principals to join in the evening. The guests will
be coming from the hotel area in Tel Aviv by taxi which is why they want
only the Tel Aviv area. 

The program is called "Holy Land Democracy Project" and if you would like
more information, please contact me and I'll forward the attachments. This
is the 5th or 6th year of the program and it has been very successful.

They would also like home hospitality dinner for the 7 Jewish teachers. 

 

Please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to participate in
this important program.
