[etni] grammar question

Ok, now I have a grammar question...

Here's the sentence:  "She was very worried about the test."

Is the word "worried" an adjective or a verb or both?  Obviously, it looks
like an adjective.  But isn't it the past participle of the verb "worry"?
And isn't "was worried" the passive form of "worried".  Couldn't we change
this sentence to read, "The test really worried her"?
