I agree that working with mabar classes demands much more effort in
class and is far more frustrating than teaching higher level classes.
Frankly I think that teachers of all levels in English work very very
hard and they all deserve at least the same remuneration in gmulim,
particularly now when we are overburdened with preparing performance
tasks and projects as well as everything we did before.  Planning a 3
point project is no less demanding than for a 4 or 5 point class; if
anything it takes more time because these kids really can't cope with
sources in English (even the minimum they are expected to deal with)
without a lot of help.
