I gave my 9th graders girls (4-5 point potential, very motivated) a story to read and then asked for a short summary. Some them broke out in a cold sweat, and I promised that I would give them exercises and guidelines 'after the Hagim'.
Does anyone know of a site or suitable available exercises?
No comment on 'why don't they learn this in sifrut or lashon'. I asked them and they said they had never done such a thing before. Good thing they learn English!
