Thank you all.  So far all of the responses to me personally and posted
to etni
have agreed with me.  OK, I admit we're all English teachers, so we're a
bit
"different" from the rest of the staff, but still.
   
  I also sent my post to the Carnival of Education, so I expect an
international
response.
